Best Practices & Compliance
Diamond Title holds every file to national industry standards — from title and settlement best practices to the federal rules that protect your money and your data.
The standards behind every closing
Compliance isn’t paperwork we file and forget — it’s how we run the office day to day. Three frameworks shape that work.
ALTA Best Practices
The American Land Title Association’s Best Practices are the industry benchmark for running a title and settlement business responsibly. They cover licensing, escrow account controls, protection of non-public personal information, settlement processes, policy production, consumer complaint handling, and maintaining appropriate insurance.
TRID
The TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure rule governs how loan and closing costs are disclosed to consumers. We coordinate with your lender so your Closing Disclosure is accurate and delivered on time, with no last-minute surprises at the table.
Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA)
The GLBA requires financial institutions — including title companies — to protect the non-public personal information you share with us and to explain how it’s handled. Our Privacy Policy details exactly what we collect and why.
